Lifebuoy specification (사양)

- Outer diameter of not more than 800 mm and an inner diameter of not less than 400 mm

(외경 800 mm 이하 / 내경 400 mm 이상)

- Constructed of inherently buoyant material (고유의 부양성을 가진 물질로 제작)

- 14.5 kg of iron in fresh water for a period of 24 hour (14.5kg 이상 - 담수에서 24시간동안 부력유지)

- Mass of not less than 2.5 kg (2.5kg 이상의 중량)

- Not sustain burning or continue melting after being totally enveloped in a fire for a period of 2 sec.

(2초간 화염에 완전히 노출 후 불타거나 계속 용해되지 않는 재질)

- Constructed to with stand a drop into the water from the height at which it is stowed above the

waterline in the lightest seagoing condition or 30 meter

(장치된 곳까지의 높이나 / 30m 중 높은 곳으로부터 수면으로 투하될 때 구명부환이나 그 부속물의 손상이 없어야 함)

- Intended to operate the quick release arrangement provided for the self-activated smoke signals and self-igniting lights, have a mass of not less than 4 kg

(순간이탈장치를 작동시키게 되어 있는 경우, 4 kg 이상의 중량)

- Grabline not less than 9.5 mm in diameter / secured at four equidistant points

(손잡이 줄은 직경 9.5 mm이상이고 / 부환의 원주에 같은 거리를 두고 4곳에 부착됨)
